FAA Aviation Medicals |
Dr. Roberts is available for FAA First, Second and Third Class Medicals, including those airmen who require EKGs or the new FAA required Color Vison Test for those who require these tests. Dr. Roberts is a pilot, flying for more than 40 years, in Part 91 and Part 135 commercial operations and owns, operates and maintains a Cessna C182. He is the leader of the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport Airport Advisory Group and keeps his airplane in Hangar 68 at Brainerd. He understands the demands of flying and the FAA's Aeromedical Certification Division's demands having experienced it every year as a pilot. As a seasoned pilot and a retired radiation oncologist, he is able to devote full time to helping pilots obtain and keep their medical certification, what requirements the FAA will expect if there are medical certification concerns and is happy to help answer questions related to Medical Certification, as a consultant before an actual FAA application is processed, and to complete the medical certification process, with the goal of having everyone leave the office visit with a medical certificate in their pocket and ready for the next flight.
